Mike has an extensive background in marketing, sales and management at several companies in the consumer products sector. He became president of New Directions in 2007. Before New Directions, he was chief executive officer of Roxy.com, Inc., chief executive of the Photo Division at Nashua Corporation, and president of Wesson/Peter Pan Foods, a Conagra Company.
He earlier held senior marketing positions at Hunt Wesson, H. P. Hood and Chesebrough-Pond's USA. Mike is a director of AMICA Mutual Insurance Co. and serves on the boards of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Nashua, Habitat for Humanity of North Central Massachusetts, and the Boston Minuteman Council of the Boy Scouts. Mike is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

John was recently executive editor of BusinessWeek and left there (February 2010) to start an online publishing portal. Previously, Byrne was editor-in-chief of Fast Company. Before that, he worked for BusinessWeek for nearly 18 years, rising to senior writer. Byrne launched the magazines ground-breaking rankings of business schools, best and worst corporate boards, and most generous philanthropists. Byrne is the author or co-author of eight books, including The New York Times best-seller Jack: Straight from the Gut, with former General Electric Chief Executive Jack Welch.
John is a graduate of William Paterson University of New Jersey, and earned a Masters in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

David Weild is the Senior Capital Markets Advisor at Grant Thornton LLP, providing strategies and insights into today’s global capital markets. He is co-author of the recent Grant Thornton studies, A wake-up call for America and Market Structure is causing the IPO crisis. David is also founder of Capital Markets Advisory Partners. He was formerly the vice-chairman and executive vice-president of The NASDAQ Stock Market, overseeing the more than 4,000 listed companies.
David spent 14 years in a variety of senior investment banking and equity capital markets roles at Prudential Securities. David holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business and a B.A. from Wesleyan University. He has studied on exchange at The Sorbonne, Ecole des Haute Etudes Commerciales and The Stockholm School of Economics.
